Wau-Bulolo road call

Letters

THE Government should take a serious look at the reconstruction of the Wau-Bulolo road.
The road links Bulolo and Menyamya districts.
It is the most economical road in Morobe. The Government now wants to fast-track the Wafi-Golpu Mine, which will use the same highway.
Harmony Mine, in Wau, has had no impact on the road or the sealing of Bulolo town roads.
No roads were constructed into Garaina and Tekadu during the operation of Harmony gold mine.
Before going to Wafi, fix the road first.
Pangu is already in government and if this project was one of the conditions of joining the government than provide this vital service. Members for Bulolo, Menyamya and the Morobe governor should work together to get this project off the ground.
