Well done, Dr Langas

Letters

DR Langas Tito, your 40 years of service in public health and public service is indeed worth noting and respecting.
Surely Papua New Guinea and New Guinea Islands have benefitted.
Some Papua New Guineans who are now neonates, toddlers, teenagers and adults whom you have touched and saved as a pediatrician will continue to serve and contribute to the development of PNG and New Ireland.
You planned your retirement well. A couple of years back, the National Doctors’ Association (NDA) assisted you with an advance to build a house.
When NDA held one of its quarterly meetings in Kavieng, you thanked NDA for the assistance, and yes, you told NDA that the house was complete.
At your retirement, NDA also acknowledges your time as one of the senior members of NDA who knew very well that NDA was the vehicle to many opportunities.
A doctor is always a doctor, so it is pretty certain that in retirement from public service, you will continue to serve.
Dr. Langas Tito, long live and we salute you.

Dr. James Naipao
President Elect
NDA
