Where does the buck stop?

Letters

I WRITE to express my opinion on the termination of the Telikom board chairman recently.
While it is the Government’s prerogative to do what they did through the minister responsible, one vital information I would like to offer is that chairmen are advised and guided by responsible chief executive officers on their roles and responsibilities.
In this case the board is advised and guided by the Telikom CEO.
Therefore the blame should be equally laid on the CEO.
It is for this reason, I call on the Government and Minister for Public Enterprises to terminate immediately the current Telikom CEO.
