WITNESS

SUSPECTS allegedly chopped down a coconut tree and bananas to block the road leading to the Madang airport, before moving to rob Heli Niugini.
Police received a call and went to check the road between 2am-3am on Saturday.
They left their vehicle and walked to the airport where they confronted the suspects.
One suspect is dead and two others injured during a gunfight between the police and the suspects.
