A group of youths found some bombs used in World War II resurfacing around the vicinity of Mt Lunaman cave in Lae, Morobe.
Chris Thomas (third from right) with his team who looked after the area urged the public not to use the place to relieve themselves as they could step on unidentified bombs laying around.
The team erected pegs to warn people not to go near the mountain.

  • The owners of the bomb should be traced and asked to retrieve and disposed, otherwise its a risk for innocent people living there

    Where is the PNGDF bomb disposal unit? Can they please check?
