A YOUNG Wolves outfit are expected to push Gazelle to the limit in the main game of Port Moresby men’s A grade softball competition at Bisini Softball Diamond One on Sunday.

Coach Vincent Kipma will be counting on his young guns in Kolis Pagal, Mark ToMangana, Alex Pedro, James Kelly, Aiden Kipma, Jonty Malum and Nigel Yaru to take on the experienced Gazelle players.

The young Wolf pack are continuously improving and should provide some entertaining softball.

Kipma said his team has big David Manning in the outfield to keep the boys hot on their heels.

Wolves are always looking forward to playing Brown Eagles as they are their closer arch rivals from B Grade few years back.

Gazelle will rely on pitcher Meli Taragau to make some magic to ensure they beat Wolves.

Taragau has been combining well with Tony Francis (catcher) and this weekend’s match will be no exception.

Gazelles starting trio in Gabriel Pamel, Harry Mathew and Chris Pamel are strong in batting to open up the scorebook.

They will be ably supported by Tony Karani, David Miki, Demas Total and Peter Kaminiel and Levi Uralia.

In the curtain raiser, Defence will have a hard time over PNG Power.

The former champions are out of the final contention but they are capable of springing an upset.
