A WOMAN from Port Moresby was the lucky winner of a Toyota Harrier in the Lutheran Reform Church grand Christmas raffle draw.
Eddita Manabu, 35, of Eastern Highlands and East New Britain parentage, did not expect her name to be picked as the winner of the first prize.
Manabu said she bought a ticket for K10 at Waigani and entered the draw.
“It was a surprise when I received a call from the Church representative in Mt Hagen that I won the vehicle. I had to come to Mt Hagen to get my prize,” she said.
Manabu said this was her first time to own a vehicle.
“I thank the Lutheran Reform Church for giving me this special gift this Christmas,” she said.
Lutheran Reform Church of PNG national superintendent Ps Richard Michael Kupi said the Christmas grand raffle draw ended with the Church’s 30th anniversary celebration.
