Women have options

WOMEN have all the right to contests the open and regional seats in Papua New Guinea like what any other women have elsewhere in the world and even in our country.
Why are women leader in Chimbu threatening to boycott national election this year as reported in The National newspaper of Jan 5?
Why can’t they take on men in the open and regional and regional seats?
If men and women want their representative women in parliament then they can give in their vote, otherwise it is a waste of taxpayers’ money which they can be used on other necessary things like schools, roads and airports in the rural areas.
