Young people live in tough world

Letters

DID you know that you are part of a special generation?
Take a minute to look around. Something is wrong.
Flipping on the television set offers no relief.
The news reports crime, suicide, murder, deaths, rapes, hatred, gossips, competitions, poverty, HIV/Aids, drug and alcohol abuse, escapism and the list goes on.
Newspaper reports describe the breakdown in law and order, the increase in crime, corruption, the increase in poverty and destitution, unprovoked violence, abuse and oppression.
The biggest challenge is the delivery of services to the people.
Information gives us the responsibility to stand up to speak for our rights.
We have to be considerate of our young people. They are our future.
