CUSTOMERS can buy quality products at locally based tailoring services like Zucci Mode at affordable prices instead of going overseas.
Business Development Executive Edith Oroki said customers would not only benefit from buying the products, but they would help generate employment domestically.
The tailoring firm is part of the Supreme group and has been around for more than 15 years, employing 50 people who are mostly women.
She said the staff base, mostly women, manage all operations like sewing, embroidery, ironing, packaging and dispatch.
The firm basically services various sectors such as aviation, hospitality, healthcare, food and beverages, manufacturing, construction and engineering, charitable institutions, education institutions, security companies, and private and government organisations.
Oroki said its biggest client from the government sector is police.
She said: “We are investing in a big way every year, we are adding machinery every year to ensure we are on par with the world and produce and meet demand locally. We are quick in our turnaround time and which makes our customers trust us.”
Oroki also pointed out that Zucci Mode products were stain free making it easier for customers not to wash regularly.
Despite being located in Port Moresby, outside centres have learnt about the firm’s products, she added.
Zucci Mode is also involved in producing and supplying vests among other items for close protection officers, traffic, police and media officers participating in the A meetings.
